Listen to yourself, and in that quietude you might hear the voice of God.

Quietude

A five-week meditation mentorship program for more stillness, clarity and inner connection

Let’s start with you:

You’re a curious seeker, drawn to spirituality and self exploration. You want to experience more inner-stillness, calm, ease and presence, because deep down, you know that these states are closer to the truth of who you are . You long for a greater sense of connection to yourSelf and to Source. Something has told you that meditation and stillness are the keys to greater self-realization and clarity.

But:

  • Your overactive mind gets distracted and you can’t seem to turn off your brain. Perhaps you’re currently struggling with overthinking and overwhelm and have forgotten how to come back to yourself

  • Even though you crave rest and space, it always feel like there’s something more pressing or urgent demanding your attention, which is an ongoing source of stress or self-critique

  • You’ve reached a plateau in your meditation/spiritual practice. You feel uninspired or unsure of how to continue, and are looking for a way to go deeper

  • You don’t know if you’re doing it right. Sometimes you wonder if you’re just wasting your time. There are so many approaches and apps out there that sometimes it’s confusing and overwhelming (or underwhelming)

  • You’re generally a pretty self-motivated person, but recently you’ve been feeling kind of “bleh” and could use the extra accountability and inspiration

I have experienced each one of these phases

I started meditation because I was an uptight, anxious mess, and on a gutteral level, I knew I wouldn’t find what I was looking for until I learned how to quiet my mind, be with the Self, and find freedom from the compulsive habit patterns of my mind.

I stuck with meditation because it brought clarity, joy and empowerment into my life. I learned how to live more from my body and less from my head, how to deactivate my nervous system and live a more open-hearted life.

Now, I continue to meditate because it shows me the truth of who I am, who I BE. My stillness practice has become a place in which I can experience a truth beneath language.

If you are craving this for yourself, I welcome you. Get ready to do some fun and meaningful internal exploration that will open you up forever.

This program is for you if:

  • You want to learn to turn your mind into your friend, and have a calmer, more positive mindset, perspective and attitude

  • You want to learn how to be more in your body, strengthen your nervous system and cultivate a sense of internal safety + security

  • You want to strengthen your inner-knowing, self trust and improve your relationship with yourself and something greater than yourself, so you can be a more decisive, self-assured, grounded person

  • You want to learn how to more skillfully navigate emotions (whether it’s numbness or intensity)

  • You seek liberation and sovereignty- the power to be able to RESPOND to life (rather than react) from inner knowing and Truth, independent of external influence and false fear

  • The spiritual seeker within you longs to have more in depth conversations and guidance around spirituality, awareness, consciousness, ego-disidentification, self trust, stillness and more.

  • You’re looking for support and community beyond apps or meditating on your own. Most people don’t realize that meditation is not always meant to be a solitary endeavor. Most long term practitioners connect with other people along the way, either in a group setting or with private teachers, at different points of their journey

  • You are self motivated and feel confident in your ability to meditate consistently (with the help of some accountability and support from me)

  • You enjoy the flexibility of being mentored through private text and voice messaging, rather that regular in-person calls

This program is not for you if:

  • You currently don’t have time to meditate. Meditation is a practice, and like anything else, it requires time for you to experience the benefits. If you’re currently struggling with foundational self care (i.e. sleep deprivation, no time for regular meals) or have a million goals and obligations, my advice is actually NOT to add one more thing to your plate. This program is for people who are excited and ready to prioritize stillness in their lives, who can comfortably spend 10-20 minutes meditating a day. Otherwise, you run the risk of meditation being another transactional thing on your to-do list, which I do not want for anyone. If what you really need is sleep or to simplify your life, those are both really great places to start cultivating more quietude!

  • You aren’t self-motivated and struggle to hold yourself accountable

  • You don’t really want to meditate, but you feel like you “should.” This may sound obvious, but a lot of people come to meditation because of some external reason. Your reason for meditating, like anything else, must come from an authentic place within you. If you are genuinely called to this practice, it will set you free. If this practice feels more like a should than a true want, then there’s a good chance it won’t be sustainable

  • You aren’t a fan of voice recordings. Since all communication will take place via Voxer, a voice messaging app, it’s important you feel comfortable communicating in this way

We are never more ourselves than when we are still.
— Eckhart Tolle

“This program was AMAZING and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about meditation, themselves, and improve their quality of life!”

Before I started working with Eva, the things I struggled with an overall lack of inner peace. I’ve always categorized myself as an anxious person, but over the last few years, it felt like stress and life events had caught up to me and I could no longer manage the constant racing of my mind. I felt like I was headed for some serious burnout if I didn’t learn how to take care of myself.

I feel so impressed with the changes that I’ve made in the last month through my work with Eva and a consistent meditation practice. I feel much more empowered to do things that typically scared me because I’m reminded of the inner calm that I can always return to. I began enforcing healthy boundaries I’ve been trying to set for years. In doing so, I also became more mindful of the ways I spend my time and how much time I do have for self-care. I started doing yoga and taking walks more frequently, which both helped my mental & emotional health immensely.

There really aren’t enough words to say how grateful I am for this experience I’ve had with Eva. I’ve gained so much clarity through this practice, I could never thank her enough. I found it incredibly helpful to have an experienced and knowledgeable guide to help me on my journey through the inner workings of my mind. Through this work, I’ve been able to build a foundation for not only a solid meditation practice, but for a life practice. The work I did with Eva has easily made its way off my meditation pillow and into my everyday life in so many ways.

“I loved the communication outside of sessions. Whatever thoughts I had in my head I could just dump them there whenever I needed and that was really helpful. I liked hearing from Eva throughout the week because it helps you feel connected.” -S.E.

“I loved the way this course worked & have never heard of anything else similar! I think that the coaching calls were brilliant, but the thing that worked so well for me was being able to reflect every day via our phone app and get daily feedback, as well as the inspirational quotes & articles.” -E.G.

"I really appreciated Eva's reflection questions for me via the phone app during the week. I think the combo of a meditation practice plus coaching sessions that involve asking about the whole person is really great. At the beginning, I wasn’t sure how it would all tie together. But I see now that talking about what’s going on in my life and what I want to see shift was essential to deepening my meditation practice." - D.W.

Testimonials

from past meditation & 1:1 coaching clients

“I walked away from this program feeling more connected to my breath, myself, and the inner stillness I KNOW is there. As someone who’s spent years trying to relieve anxiety, this feels so huge.”
Kyley.JPG

I’d never worked with a coach before; I’d never even really considered it until I met Eva. I often felt like, “I know what I should be doing so I’ll just do it already!” But I kept tripping up at the same places. But I was feeling stuck and I was really struggling to be still and present with myself, and thus I was struggling to be still and present with the universe. I knew that meditation was this great and powerful resource for building a calm and centered life, but I just couldn’t access it and commit.

A lot of interesting things came up for me in this program—stuff about anger/rage, dis/liking myself, numbness, and discomfort ….and also love, joy, graciousness and a connection to the divine energy that binds us all and a peace and tranquility. And Eva helped me to navigate that with so much thoughtfulness and grace. I walked away from this program feeling full.

As a result, I’m braver about observing and being present with myself when I’m anxious. I walked away from this program feeling more connected to my breath, to myself, to the inner stillness I KNOW is there. And as someone with an anxiety disorder, who’s spent years trying to relieve anxiety, this feels so huge.”

“A lottttt of things came up during my meditations and coaching sessions. I was definitely not expecting Eva to answer questions that I have been searching for answers to for years.”

"I reached out because my mind felt numbed and I didn’t feel I could face the challenges that were ahead of me. I felt all over the place and had difficulty focusing on anything.

A lottttt of things came up during my meditations and coaching sessions. I was definitely not expecting Eva to answer questions that I have been searching for answers to for years. Eva has helped me better my perspective and that has helped with my anxieties tremendously.

Self-love is something I have always struggled with otherwise- I’ve always struggled with comparison, but now... I am starting to discover and love myself now, regardless of what other people think. [Now] I am much, much more positive. I feel like I can take on life. I am kinder and more loving towards myself- I'm not as hard on myself, I feel like I can relax. I feel more organized. I have less chatter in my mind. It is all because of all the work I have been doing with Eva!

“I [was] able to control my fear of needles for the first time in 15 years!...I am feeling much calmer and more connected and am now very much enjoying meditation.”
20170606_123353.jpg

“I’m so excited about the changes in my life as a result of working with Eva! I [signed up to work with Eva because] I wanted to master meditation to help control depression, anxiety and to become a calmer, more centered person. The goal was to understand how to meditate and to make it a daily habit. I have not only achieved this but so much more! I am feeling much calmer and more connected in general, and am now very much enjoying meditation, which I would never have believed a few weeks ago. I am sleeping much better, I have less nightmares and less of a “crazy brain” before going to sleep. I think that this is mostly due to learning how to observe thoughts without engaging with them. Meditation has already helped me to feel calmer, more connected and better at acknowledging feelings and thoughts without becoming overwhelmed by them.

One of the ways that this has been expressed is through my being able to control my fear of needles for the first time in 15 years! Usually I would become panicky and hysterical before a blood test or injection (due to past traumatic experience), and have nightmares about it for several days before. During the course of this program, I had a blood test without any panic or nightmares. I was able to acknowledge and understand my fear without avoiding or being overwhelmed, and to remain calm and breathing. This is a huge success for me and I plan to develop this further by trying to overcome the other big fears/phobias I have.“

FAQ

What kind of meditation practice is this program based on?

If you have a technique you like, we'll stick with what already works. My background is in Vipassana and insight meditation, and this is what I will recommend if you do not have a preferred style of meditation.

How much time will this program require?

Enough time for you to intentionally sit and reflect daily, anywhere from 10-40 mins. You get to decide what feels good to you!

What makes this program so amazing?

Through Voxer, you can receive tailored, personalized support, without being limited to one our weekly zoom calls, because the truth is. most of your growth and learning happens OUTSIDE of weekly calls, in the middle of everyday life. Thus being able to check in regularly and in the moment helps you integrate your learning faster and more effectively.

As one client put it: “[Being able to check in with you daily] was SO HELPFUL.  For God’s sake, I feel like I got bonus therapy sessions with you!! SO many hearts here….❤️❤️”

And as another put it: “Regular reflection wound up being really helpful. It helped me see patterns that I wouldn’t necessarily see.”

I’ve practiceD consistently for weeks at a time but then I always "fall off" or get side-tracked. Will this program help me develop and keep a meditation practice forever?

The goal of this program isn’t (just) to help you develop your practice. It’s also to explore what comes up when you meditate and go within. We will use this information to see what your challenges are, help you develop more self awareness, and to explore yourself and consciousness on a deeper level. Whether or not you continue on with the practice after our time together is ultimately up to you. What’s important is that you walk away with a deeper sense of self awareness, self-connection and clarity.
